I created this mandala because I love the symmetrical shapes and the little details. The colours are very simple, but it turned out good anyway. The patterns and shapes just came out from my mind randomly. The process of creating the mandala was rewarding. I cut it out and made it as my bookmark. I don't really have any special tips in creating mandalas. Most of the inspirations I get are from nature, such as fish, flowers, seeds, it can be just anything that I can think of.

Great job!

Thanks so much for posting your mandala and telling us about the process. It is fascinating to hear how the designs just came out of your head randomly. A lot of my abstract designs in art come out that way too. ;)

It's also nice that you are using the mandala as a bookmark - it's like functional art!

Keep it up!
