My favorite paper to print on is Neenah Exact Index 110lb Cardstock, which I love because it is thicker than regular printer paper and also thicker than most paper you'll find in published coloring books. Depending on the type of paper you use, you can color these pages with a wide variety of media beyond the regular markers, gel pens and colored pencils - for instance, why not experiment with acrylics, watercolor pencils, glitter pens, gouache and more!

Another great thing about printables is that you don't have to worry about coloring the page "just right" on your first (or second or third!) try. You can feel free to experiment with different color schemes, different media, and different techniques. It's an opportunity to explore your creativity and have fun, knowing that you can print the page again if you get a new idea or want to take your coloring in a different direction!
